Agartala, 22 nd October 2025: The Tripura State Committee of the All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) submitted a 10-point memorandum to the Chief Secretary earlier this week, highlighting the pressing concerns of farmers across the state. In response, the Chief Secretary held a meeting with AIKS representatives yesterday to discuss the issues raised.
Speaking to media personnel here, AIKS State Secretary Pabitra Kar and President Aghore Debbarma elaborated on the farmers’ grievances and urged the government to take immediate action. “Farmers in Tripura are facing severe challenges that hinder agricultural productivity. We felt it necessary to bring these matters to the government’s attention,” Kar stated.
