PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) - Four former Pittsburgh Steelers have moved one step closer to being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

That includes kicker Gary Anderson, linebacker James Harrison, center Maurkice Pouncey and receiver Hines Ward.

Anderson played for the Steelers from 1982-94 and still ranks as the team's all-time leader in total points scored with 1,343. He piled up 309 field goals and 416 PATs.

Harrison has been a Pro Football Hall of Fame semifinalist three times (2023-25). He was named the Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year during the 2008 Super Bowl season, finishing the season with 16 sacks.
