(LOOTPRESS) – The Mega Millions jackpot has surged to an estimated $680 million for Friday night’s drawing, making it the ninth largest in the game’s history.

No ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday’s drawing, leaving the massive prize to roll over.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever was $1.6 billion, won in 2023.

Despite no grand prize winner on Tuesday, more than 400,000 tickets across the country claimed smaller prizes, according to Mega Millions officials.

Players nationwide have another chance to win the colossal prize on Friday, as anticipation continues to build for one of the lottery’s most historic jackpots.
