Among other recent astronomical headlines , unusual online chatter is surrounding a "second moon" orbiting Earth, but the buzz doesn't describe the discovery quite right.
Earth has only one true natural satellite, our 2,159-mile-wide moon which orbits about 239,000 miles away from our planet. However, experts only recently discovered a new quasi-moon; a small body that has been traveling silently with Earth for decades.
