Some days after watching the national news and reading the local newspaper I get the impression that our federal government is not working, and somedays it even feels like it is in total chaos. Today the federal government is in shutdown and the two parties don’t seem to be willing to work together or find some areas of compromise in order to re-open our government. Thousands of federal employees are losing their jobs or are working without getting paid, while our federal elected officials seem more concerned with being re-elected than demonstrating leadership and solving these problems.
