A man in his 60s was found dead at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground in Florida on Tuesday morning. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported that police received a call about a “person down” at 7:32 a.m. local time. Upon arrival, authorities determined that the man had experienced a medical episode. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Officials stated that there are no signs of foul play in this incident.

The incident occurred at the Cottontail Curl campsite, one of the 21 sites within the resort located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This marks the second death at a Disney property within a week. On October 14, a woman named Summer Equitz, 31, was found dead at the Contemporary Resort near Magic Kingdom. The Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled her death a suicide, confirming that she died from multiple blunt impact injuries. Authorities clarified that she was not struck by a monorail, despite social media speculation.

Earlier this month, another woman in her 60s died after becoming unresponsive following a ride on the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The Anaheim Police Department reported that emergency responders were called to the scene, where Disneyland security personnel had already begun CPR. The woman was taken to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. Police indicated that there was no indication of any operational issues with the ride, which reopened shortly after the incident. The Haunted Mansion, a slow-moving attraction, is currently decorated for the Halloween season, featuring themes inspired by Tim Burton’s "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
