A “verbally abusive” Louisville , Ky., man forced a Las Vegas -bound flight to return to Logan International Airport on Monday night, State Police said.
Around 10 p.m., State Police were notified by JetBlue operations that Flight 777 was returning to the gate because of a “non-compliant passenger who had been verbally abusive.”
The 37-year-old will be summoned to court to face a charge of interfering with a flight crew, officials said. Authorities didn’t name him.
The flight landed in Las Vegas at 2:24 a.m. Pacific time, some three hours and 50 minutes late, according to FlightAware, a leading commercial aviation tracker.
