HORNELLSVILLE, N.Y. (WETM) — A grocery store in Hornellsville was damaged early Wednesday morning after a SUV crashed into it, according to a release from the Arkport Hose Co. #1 Inc.

On Wednesday, Oct. 22, around 4 a.m. officials were sent to the ALDI on County Route 66, in the Town of Hornellsville for the report of a car into the building, the release stated. New York State Police and officials from the North Hornell Volunteer Fire Department, City of Hornell Fire Department (Ambulance) and Steuben County Sheriff's Office were also sent to the scene.

Upon arrival at the scene, officials learned that a Jeep SUV had drove off of Seneca Road and crashed into ALDI, lodging itself sideways inside the structure, the release explained. The person driving the car was not injured but medical p
