ALBANY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- As ICE raids ramp up across the country, so has their documentation. Witnesses recording agents in action have reached the eyes of onlookers across New York State. And the state government is interested.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is urging people to submit videos of ICE activity through an online form. In a statement released on Wednesday, Oct. 22, James called it a matter of protecting people's civil rights and capturing illegal procedure on camera.

"No one should be subject to unlawful questioning, detention, or intimidation,” she said.

James' office said that the initiative followed a recent ICE raid in New York City.
