BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Week 9 of the college football season kicked off Tuesday as we get closer to the releasing of the first College Football Playoff rankings.

Week 8 featured several top-25 teams falling in what has been a wild and unpredictable college football season. No. 2 Miami was stunned at home Friday night by Louisville, 24-21.
