A man who was on the run for four days after he snuck out of jail has been sent back to prison.
Liam Stevenson was caught on camera shuffling past a security barrier and jogging away from HMP Thorn Cross on July 26 2025.
The 30-year-old was serving a custodial sentence at the time and was set to be released in 2027.
However, after managing to escape, Cheshire Police were notified that Stevenson had left the premises and not returned, with a search for him being conducted by colleagues from Lancashire Police.
