COLUMBIA, S.C. — Former University of South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw has been named to the Southeastern Conference’s 2025 Football Legends Class, presented by T-Mobile, the SEC announced Wednesday.
The 2025 class features 16 former football standouts who helped define the history of the sport at their respective SEC schools. This year’s honorees include a Heisman Trophy winner, national champions, All-Americans, NFL veterans, and members of state and college football halls of fame.
Shaw, a native of Flowery Branch, Georgia, remains the winningest quarterback in South Carolina history, compiling a 27-5 record as a starter from 2010 to 2013 — including a perfect 17-0 mark at Williams-Brice Stadium.
