Jimmy John's has announced the return of its popular Picklewich, expanding the bread-free sandwich to six varieties after last year's viral debut caused what the company called a "nationwide pickle frenzy."

The sandwich, which swaps traditional bread for a hollowed-out kosher dill pickle, will be available at participating locations nationwide starting Oct. 27 for a limited time.

"Jimmy John's fans are freaks for our Jimmy Pickles, and last year, the Picklewich took the internet by storm," said Kate Carpenter, vice president of marketing at Jimmy John's. "This year, we wanted to give our devoted pickle fans even more to celebrate."
