SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly stole a family's cat out of their front yard Wednesday.

The cat was taken around 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Windmill Lane, officials said.

A video of the alleged theft was shared on social media in a local Facebook group where a man could be seen with a net. He appeared to scoop up the cat and walked away with it.

According to the Facebook post, the cat is brown with a pink nose. WSAV attempted to contact the person who posted the video, but we have not received a response.
