The North Bay Battalion are coming off back-to-back wins over the Barrie Colts and sit second in the Ontario Hockey League’s Central Division.

The first win was saw the Troops mount a third period rally to beat Barrie 4-3. One day later a 2-0 lead early in the third evaporated quickly and it took a shootout for North Bay to edge the Colts 3-2.

It’s the results that matter no matter how you get to them. One surprise is that the Battalion’s first year players are doing the bulk of the scoring and the veteran players have been very quiet.

The top line of Ethan Procyszyn centring left winger Shamar Moses and right winger Lirim Amidovski has combined for just six goals total in the 9 games they have played.
