CANTON, Ohio — Gervasi Destinations has named Alberto “Bert” Rodriguez executive sous chef of Olinda - Modern Plates + Pours. The off-campus restaurant is scheduled to open in 2026 at The Marketplace at Nobles Pond in Canton.

Olinda will offer an elevated dining experience for guests. The restaurant’s menu will feature shareable plates, creative handhelds as well as entrées, a sushi and raw bar, and weekend brunch.

Rodriguez has grown within the Gervasi family, which includes a winery, distillery, restaurants and more.
