Despite 29 years of marriage, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos still have their disagreements.
On the Oct. 22 episode of "Live with Kelly and Mark," Ripa brought up the concept of an "airport divorce" and suggested their relationship would benefit from going to the airport separately, even for the same flight.
"You and I have different traveling philosophies," the 55-year-old said, adding, "You need to get there between four to 16 hours before a flight takes off."
Consuelos, 54, pushed back, saying, "I like to get there an hour and a half before."
Ripa, who says she's never missed a flight, then claimed her husband gets "irritated" by fans who recognize him. When he disagreed, she corrected her statement to say he gets irked by her, but Consuelos said that wasn't true and added, "I'm irritated with you right now for trying to throw me under the bus."
Later, Allison Williams stepped into a chair to discuss her new film "Regretting You," and the hosts couldn't help but bring their earlier argument into the conversation. As Williams gushed about her husband, Alexander Dreymon, Consualos asked, "How is he in an airport?"
When Williams replied that he is the "only reason I get anywhere on time," Ripa joked to her and Consuelos: "You guys need an airport marriage."
"Completely platonic," Consuelos clarified.
This isn't the first time the two have brought up the "D" word on the show.
In January, Ripa brought up the hypothetical of them deciding to get divorced. "I feel that you and I would wind up right back together," she said, to which Consuelos replied, "Oh, definitely."
"How many years have we been married? It's almost 30. So yeah, where am I going?" he added.
