FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — A grant program that helps improve the facade of buildings in some areas of Foley is now more accessible to property and business owners, according to a City of Foley news release.

The Foley Facade Improvement Incentive Grant Program gives funding for projects that improve the outside appearance of buildings and businesses in Foley's local and national Historic Districts and the Foley Main Street District.

The Foley City Council recently approved changes to the program that would better define the downtown areas where funding is available, and help owners apply for improvements, according to Foley Planning Director Miriam Boone.
