LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A south Lincoln street project is nearing completion.
Normal Boulevard from 33rd Street to 48th Street was fully reopened to traffic Wednesday morning. Cones, however, still remain at the 48th Street and Normal Boulevard intersection.
According to Lincoln Transportation and Utilities’ street closure map , this project is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 3.
Lincoln on the Move has been investing in improvements to 3 miles of Normal Boulevard between 33rd and 70th streets since fall 2024.
These improvements include mill and overlay with concrete and base repairs or replacement where required, curb and median repair or replacement, joint and crack sealing, inlet and inlet top replacements, and public utility adjustments.
