OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Emergency personnel responded to two-vehicle crash involving a motorcyle in North Omaha during the Wednesday evening commute.
The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. near 30th Street and Laurel Avenue.
Omaha Police Sgt. Damian Curtis told First Alert 6 at the scene that the motorcyclist, thought to be in a man in his mid-20s or 30s, was in critical condition. He was taken by ambulance to Nebraska Medical Center, Sgt. Curtis said.
Passengers in the car reported only minor injuries, he said.
Sgt. Curtis said at the scene that the investigation was still very preliminary, but he said witnesses told police the motorcyclist was driving recklessly.
