SAVANNA, Ill. (KWQC) - A man is facing multiple gun charges after police said they found multiple assault rifles, silencers and high-capacity magazines in a Savanna apartment, one mile from the police station.

While searching an apartment in the 1300 block of Chicago Avenue Tuesday afternoon, according to a media release, Savanna police officers found:

Three assault rifles

Firearm silencers

Ammunition

High-capacity assault rifle magazines

Readily convertible firearm components

Drug paraphernalia

Joshua A. P. Denomy was arrested and is charged with:

Two counts of unlawful possession of weapon/silencer

Unlawful possession of firearms

Two counts of possession of unserialized firearm

Possession of methamphetamine, less than five grams

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Unlawful sal
