Charlie Sheen Says Denise Richards Cashed $1 Million Check He Wrote as a Joke

Charlie Sheen once played a very expensive prank on ex-wife Denise Richards.

“I wrote a check to Denise once for $1 million on her birthday, kind of as a joke, and she kept it not as a joke,” Sheen, 60, revealed during the Tuesday, October 21, episode of Kevin Clancy’s “KFC Radio” podcast. “And then, like, a month later, f***ing cashed it.”

Sheen couldn’t recall if he and Richards, 54, were still married at the time, and Clancy, 41, couldn’t decide whether it would be “funnier” if the pair had been divorced or together when the prank occurred.

“Yeah, which makes it sting more?” Sheen asked. “But you know, if I’m on the other side of that, I’m probably cashing that check.”
