Longmont will once again offer free curbside collection of bagged leaves for residents this fall, according to a city news release. The annual service helps keep streets and storm drains clear while providing an easy way for residents to dispose of yard waste.

Leaf collection will take place Monday through Oct. 31 for residences located north of 9th Avenue and Nov. 3–7 for those south of 9th Avenue, the release stated. Residents are asked to place all bagged leaves curbside in front of their homes before 7 a.m. on the Monday of their scheduled week and to leave them out until collected. Only one pass will be made through each neighborhood.
