KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Fall weather is truly here with mild afternoons and chilly mornings.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies with light winds makes for the perfect recipe to a chilly morning. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s and low 40s area wide overnight. A few of you may even see some patchy frost waking up Thursday morning as well.

THURSDAY: After a chilly start, temperatures will climb into the upper 60s and low 70s in the afternoon. Full sunshine all day long!

FRIDAY: Friday morning will start in the low 40s with lots of sun. Throughout the day, temperatures will warm in the upper 60s in the afternoon, and we’ll a few more clouds build in from the west. Friday night football looks good with passing clouds and temperatures in the low 60s for kickoff.
