ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A woman facing a burglary charge is on the run after she ran away from a Stockbridge hospital, the city’s police department said on Tuesday.

Brittany Caldwell, 38, allegedly took clothes and other items from a home on Blackwell Road on Monday. She was taken to Piedmont Henry Hospital to be evaluated, but she escaped on Tuesday while being escorted to the bathroom, officers said.

Caldwell is described as a white woman standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall with long brown hair and green eyes. She weighs about 147 pounds and was last seen wearing blue paper scrubs.
