NEW YORK (PIX11) – Hundreds of people are marching through the streets of Manhattan to protest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and their enforcement and removal operations in New York City.

The New York City Office of Emergency Management posted on social media to notify New Yorkers about potential traffic delays.

“#Protest Activity: Expect traffic delays & emergency personnel near Foley Square, Manhattan. Use alternate routes.”

Earlier on Wednesday, a flyer for an emergency protest was shared on X.

"Yesterday, ICE raided Canal St, targeting immigrant street vendors. Our streets belong to workers—vendors, deliveristas, taxi drivers. ICE has no place in NYC."
