PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) - The jury handed down a guilty verdict to a Plattsburgh man accused of second-degree murder on Wednesday.

Timothy Timmons, 61, was accused of shooting Jhafari Joseph during a violent, drug-fueled confrontation at a Peru home in December 2024.

Timmons’ wife, Kelly, as well as a third person, Chad Nichols, have also been charged in relation to the murder.

Timmons’ sentencing is likely to take place in January.
