COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — William Moore, the man accused of shooting and killing a Sheffield motel owner, was found guilty on Wednesday.
A grand jury indicted Moore in March 2024 for the shooting death of Pravin Raojibhai Patel, the owner of the Hillcrest Hotel. The indictment stated Moore shot Patel with a handgun on February 8, 2024, causing his death.
Moore's trial started with a jury selection Monday. The jury was selected that afternoon, and opening statements started on Tuesday morning.
All 12 jurors found Moore guilty of the shooting death of Patel on Wednesday.
