SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — Police are responding to a situation near the South Jordan city hall and are asking the public to avoid the area.

According to the South Jordan Police Department, officers are actively in the area, and it is an active incident. They have not yet confirmed what the incident is.

The public is being asked to avoid the area near South Jordan Parkway and Redwood Road.

South Jordan Police Department is not releasing any more details at this time.
