LIVERMORE FALLS, Maine (WABI) - A Maine man is in custody after authorities charged him in connection with a child exploitation case, according to state police.

Jacob Hiscock, 40, of Livermore Falls, was arrested early Wednesday morning at his home by detectives with the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit.

He was then transported to the Androscoggin County Jail.

Hiscock faces charges of sexual abuse of a minor and possession of sexually explicit material.

State police say they are asking for the public’s help in identifying any other people involved in the child exploitation case.

Anyone who has information is being asked by police to submit a tip online and leave their name and number.
