ST. ALBANS, Maine (WABI) - A man pleaded guilty last week to unlawful sexual contact in connection with a reported sexual assault of a juvenile female in St. Albans in 2024.

According to the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Nicholas Estes of St. Albans was arrested last January after detectives investigated the incident.

The Sheriff’s Office says Estes was sentenced to fifty days in jail and one year of probation.

They say Estes will have to register on the Maine Sex Offender Registry and is not allowed to have contact with anyone under the age of 18, including the victim.
