LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
The Louisville Orchestra will start its 2025-26 season at 11 a.m. on Friday.
Music Director Teddy leads the Grammy Award-winning orchestra, and for him, this is a season worth looking forward to.
"There are so many important, major pieces that we are going to play. Tons of things that are going to happen this season that are worth putting on your calendar now," he said.
The season will kick off with selections from Beethoven's Pastoral and a world premiere Violin Concerto commissioned by the orchestra from Composer Lisa Bielawa.
During the course of the season, the Louisville Orchestra will collaborate with the Louisville Ballet, have performances with some of the finest musicians, and present world premiere pieces.
