WACO, Texas (KFDA) - The Canyon Eagles team tennis squad shutout the Texarkana Pleasant Grove Hawks to advance to the state finals, 10-0.

Canyon won every single doubles match, including coming out on the winning side of three super tie breakers to start singles play 7-0.

The #2 ranked Eagles will face the #1 team, Wimberley, Thursday at 3:00 p.m. CST at Baylor University for the chance at the state title.
