SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho -- The sheriff of Shoshone County resigned from her position on Wednesday, following a car crash she was involved in on Tuesday, according to Shoshone County Sheriff's Office.
On October 22, SCSO announced Sheriff Holly Lindsay formally resigned from her position, after having been involved in a hit-and-run crash in her personal vehicle while off duty on October 21.
SCSO said the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation into the crash.
Kootenai County Sheriff's Office said the crash involved Lindsay striking a "fixed object" with her car and that no injuries were reported.
