NAMPA, Idaho — Neighbors from across the Treasure Valley came together in Nampa on Wednesday, unloading cars, sorting boxes and greeting families still reeling from last weekend’s FBI raid in Wilder that led to the detainment of 105 undocumented people .

Volunteers filled a warehouse next to Calle in Nampa, offering not only food, supplies and household essentials, but also compassion.

“I think there's a compassionate way to do these things,” said volunteer Shannon Jones. “These are families. These are our people in our community.”

Donations poured in from Boise, Caldwell and beyond, filling shelves with baby formula, hygiene products and other essentials for families now living without a loved one.
