PIERRE PART, La. (WAFB) - The man accused of shooting another man and firing a shotgun toward Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon is now facing multiple charges, including hate crimes and attempted murder.

According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, an arrest warrant has been issued for 60-year-old Paul Blanchard of Pierre Part following the October 16 deputy-involved shooting.
