NEWARK, N.J. -- Nico Daws made 29 saves in his season debut to help the New Jersey Devils to their sixth straight win, 4-1 against the Minnesota Wild at Prudential Center on Wednesday.

Dawson Mercer had two assists, and Arseny Gritsyuk scored his first NHL goal for the Devils (6-1-0), who won 5-2 at the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.

New Jersey has its longest winning streak since it won 13 in a row from Oct. 25-Nov. 21, 2022.

The Devils went 3-for-3 on the penalty kill and are 24-for-25 this season. They have killed 21 straight power plays.

Matt Boldy scored, and Filip Gustavsson made 32 saves for the Wild (3-4-1), who finished 1-3-1 on a five-game road trip.
