GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins visited the University of Florida on Wednesday night, as part of an event hosted by the university’s Turning Point USA chapter.

Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins’ main message to students is to keep pushing through no matter how hard life gets.

He says one person can make a difference; it just takes courage. Saying people need to fight for what they believe in now, so the world will be a better place in the future.

He added that Charlie Kirk was an inspiration, always having open dialogue with people, no matter their views.
