The air quality in Delhi and its adjoining areas continued to remain in the 'very poor' category on Thursday morning, with the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) at 362, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Stage-II of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) is currently in force across the National Capital Region.
As of 6 am, several monitoring stations across the city reported 'very poor' air quality levels.
RK Puram recorded an AQI of 362, Patparganj 361, India Gate 353, AIIMS 342, and Akshardham 350. Anand Vihar, however, registered a 'severe' AQI of 428.
The air quality remained in the “very poor” range a day after Diwali as well. On Tuesday, the overall AQI in Delhi stood at 351, CPCB data showed.
