DUNMORE, Pa. — Hundreds of kids are lining up to fill their bags with candy in Lackawanna County.

The Greater Scranton YMCA is holding its annual trunk or treat event at its headquarters in Dunmore, offering a safe way for kids to get candy ahead of Halloween.

Greater Scranton YMCA director Renee Stella says, "We're all about community, bringing the community together. We love to hold different events for the kids and their families. We love having all the families come out. We have local businesses who have supported us throughout the years. They all come out and support all of our events."

Thirty vehicles were at the Y, passing out candy to the kids at the annual trunk or treat.
