EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - In Dubois County, The Indiana Department of Transportation held a public meeting to discuss alternatives for the Mid-State Corridor Project.

Community members gathered at Jasper Middle School to meet with representatives from INDOT to discuss the project and alternate design ideas.

Individuals were encouraged to give feedback on two alternative designs, the possibility of adding Reduced Conflict Intersections, and access variations.

“We want to be able to explain to people how things look right now and also explain that this is still a work in progress. These are preliminary designs and the conversations that we have tonight, and the deeper studies we are doing will help shape that preferred alternative,” says Nicole Minton, public outreach coordinator.
