NEW ORLEANS — Authorities say the missing 5-month-old boy has been recovered and is safe.

The Louisiana State Police have canceled the Amber Alert issued in connection with this incident.

The wanted suspect, Braydon Nix, remains at large, according to NOPD.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Nix is urged to contact the NOPD immediately at 504-821-2222 or dial 911.
