Rohit Sharma made history on Thursday at Adelaide Oval during the second ODI against Australia. From 267 ODI innings, Rohit has scored 11,249 runs at an average of 48.69, with 32 centuries and 59 fifties and a best score of 264. He became India’s third-highest run-scorer in ODIs, surpassing Sourav Ganguly’s record of 11,221 runs. Sharma achieved this milestone by hitting a four off Adam Zampa in the 21st over.

The Star Opener reached this landmark in his 275th ODI for India, while Ganguly had played 308 matches between 1992 and 2007, scoring his runs in 297 innings.
