A former Fairview High School girls wrestling coach will spend 16 years in prison after pleading no contest to six felony child exploitation charges in Dickson County.

The sentence was handed down against Geston Gordon on Oct. 22. He was originally arrested in May after a Dickson County Grand Jury indicted him on 21 child sex crimes charges.

The investigation into Gordon, who lives in Dickson County, began with a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, prosecutors said.

The anonymous tipster said a 13-year-old girl in Ohio was being extorted online for nude images, and digital forensics linked the suspect’s activity to Williamson County, investigators said.
