Owners of Popular Pizzeria and Cocktail Bar Say Weekday Sales Have Dropped Sharply
Ronan , a family-run Italian restaurant on Melrose Avenue known for its wood-fired pizzas and seasonal cocktails, is asking for community support after what owners describe as one of their most difficult financial periods since opening seven years ago.
They are sending up a flare.
In a message shared on social media, the restaurant said business has slowed sharply in recent months, particularly during weekdays, reflecting broader challenges across Los Angeles’ dining scene. “It’s taking a lot to have to write this,” the post began, “but we need to address how much slower business has been in recent months.”
Owners Caitlin and Daniel Cutler, who opened Ronan in 2018, said sales have fallen significantly
