More than an hour of Mashpee’s Annual October Town Meeting was devoted to the warrant's Article 4 on Monday , October 20 . The article, seeking permission to borrow $25.9 million for a Mashpee-Wakeby wastewater cluster treatment system along 0 Gunters Lane, was passed in a vote of 365 to 93.

“I think we all recognize that this is a significant article and we will try to accommodate all of the reasonable discussion that anybody wants to bring to the table tonight,” said Mashpee’s Town Moderator John Miller. “We ask everybody to be concise and clear in their comments and not to be repetitive.”
