The City of Bayswater has welcomed four fresh faces onto council after three councillors decided not to stand and one lost their seat.

The new councillors are Anthony Pittaway (North Ward), Calla Loiacono (Central Ward), and Don MacDonald and Cale Black (West Ward). Elli Petersen-Pik was re-elected for South Ward.

On social media, Mr Petersen-Pik said that with 67 per cent of votes, he had “significantly increased” his count since his last election.

“Rest assured that I will continue to push for a better outcome for us,” he said.

The departing councillors are Josh Eveson – who was unsuccessful in his campaign – and Sally Palmer, Giorgia Johnson and Assunta Meleca, who did not stand for re-election.
