One half of a “Bonnie and Clyde” killer couple bragged about beating a drug dealer to death and showed associates photos and a severed finger, a court has been told.
New details about the death of Matthew Warrington, 46, can be revealed after the trio responsible faced a pre-sentence hearing in Victoria’s Supreme Court on Thursday.
Earlier this year, Dylan Wyatt, 38, and Kasha McIver, 39, pleaded guilty to Mr Warrington’s manslaughter, while a third person, Brendan Dalton, 54, was found guilty of the charge after taking his case to trial.
Outlining the Crown’s case, prosecutor David Glynn said two days before Mr Warrington was killed on July 16, 2023, police had raided McIver’s Chadstone home looking for stolen property.
