(KIMT) -- With temperatures hovering at/below the freezing mark Thursday morning, a Freeze Warning has been hoisted for counties east of the I-35 corridor. This will be considered the "official end of the growing season" for counties that have not had their first freeze yet.

One more freezing start is anticipated Friday morning as temperatures will drop below freezing yet again. With south winds returning into the weekend, morning low temperatures will skyrocket well above the freezing mark for the foreseeable future.
