Kim Kardashian revealed she always felt the pressure to protect and help Kanye West during his controversial public outbursts until one of their four children witnessed his antics.

“I’ve been able to hide it for so long,” she shared on Thursday’s Season 7 premiere of “The Kardashians.”

“I always felt like I had a little bit of Stockholm syndrome, to where I always felt really bad and always protected [him] and always wanted to help [him].”

According to the Cleveland Clinic , Stockholm syndrome is defined as a trauma bond in which a victim can feel sympathetic toward their abusers, or “develop positive feelings toward their captors or abusers over time.”
